(From the FreeMind homepage) free mind (in the current version 0.8.1) is an alternative to Mind Manager Smart - especially for owners of Mac. FreeMind has a much greater functionality Mind Manager as a smart, but needs more training time. As for the automatic graphical representation of the drawn Mind Maps and the simple insertion of symbols and clip art, Mindmanager Smart is simply unbeatable. Even in the ease of use comes FreeMind not reach Mindmanager Smart, successful and rapid work, it needs a bit habit. Unique features that are present in free mind, one wishes for the Mind Manager Smart - and vice versa. Basically, it's worth it to try out FreeMind.
