Adults Develop Hole In The Heart

Janosch - Janosch's Animal Parade

Typical Janosch - in a high-quality anthology

to content: "Those who have read here that needs to be afraid of anything!" Janosch's most beautiful animal stories with lots and lots of pictures for pre- DIY and read, to browse and admire for all small and large Janosch friends.
Included are: The fiddle and the mole cricket. Oh, how beautiful Panama. The Tigers duck and the frog. Picture jokes from the little monkey. Circus Popcorn. Dirty poems. Stories of schnuddel. Rasputin, the Vaterbär. The geese opera. The donkey and the owl. And much more ... Animal (Blurb)

My opinion: The first impression of the book is terrific: You hold a high-quality glossy hardcover book in their hands, the smell is not only beautiful, but somehow good in is obvious. If you fold it up, one of the wonderful pictures literally jump in the face and wish to be considered. And before you know it you have already read the first story. Since they are all quite short, I have made myself bit by bit or read. While were in addition to a hearty laugh: "What should he do now?" Thoughts here, but this is just typical Janosch. The stories all deal with exception of animals and many also love. The latter stories sometimes vibrates with a subliminal message that I believe for children does not seem to be the right thing, however they may not yet started.
for reading aloud for large rounds (kindergarten classroom), some stories are better suited than others for the sole reason, probably because of space reasons, some pictures are somewhat small and they are not visible when Rumzeigen. Too bad. But the book has so already an enormous thickness. Some of the stories are however, of doubtful character, that I would not read in such a setting.
My favorite story is still "Oh, how beautiful is Panama. Because some stories have already appeared in other areas, definitely worth the effort for collectors of all works Janosch a look at the contents before purchase.

Conclusion: A really high-quality collection of Janosch's animal stories, but this is by no means complete. Super layout, great stories. If you like Janosch and not much has of his works, the is his pleasure to have this beautiful book.
