A team, two goals!

Hello friends,

is again passed by a super week insanely fast. In college, there was to do something, we are just at the stage long in the two weeks many intermediate written exams and papers must be submitted. I have also written an interim and a research paper, which are very well run (but I have no notes).

The swimming sessions were pretty tough. Once because of the hard tasks, but also because quite a few athletes currently train the Trojan Clubs (professionals) in the afternoon with us and it always finds someone with whom you swim a race. I like the current situation, although it is getting serious, too.

Our entire team was split into two groups. Once the people who do not have a NCAA-standard time and prepare to take place in two and half weeks Pac10's. Which means that they make no more strength training to start tapering and shaving are. All this for two reasons: Because it will be for some of the last competition this season, for some it was the last of their life (Seniors who then are done with the university). And because the people who are still in the balance and have the potential for the standard, get their chance to once again fully prepared to qualify for one of the best competitions in the world to try.

The other group consists of twelve boys filled with standard training, and continue as before because of the impending competition even more intense than before. This group, to which I belong and trains directly to the NCAA championship is down to swim the Pac10 fully from the training out. The race is still taken very seriously, and it is the timing and exactly what we need on our way to the NCAA's. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming championships.

on Saturday had the boys team in a Duel Meet-derby between our men and women of the "hostile" UCLA an internal and informal Competition. Among other things, swimming against some people of the Trojan Club. I was quite happy with my freestyle times (1:38,4 minute over 200 yards and 45.3 seconds over 100 yards). I like these little workout challenges very much, because while there is still training, but you swim a lot faster than normal training. So I also believe that a better effect on the body, and you can try and tactical and technical things.

Otherwise there is not much more to tell of the past week. Except perhaps that the weather was once again moderate = bomb) and I'm finally came on Sunday to a few friends to play a little football.

I hereby end my contribution and wish you a great Monday night. And do not forget to always give 100 percent!

Dima
